SIGNIFICANT MONUMENTS
Originally a Gothic castle - mentioned in 1334 in the archives of the Prague chapter. Burned down in 1523 and rebuilt into a Renaissance castle after 1555 under Kryštof of Gendorf.
Mining open-air museum (18th–19th century) - the only one in Eastern Bohemia, in the area of the former Jan Šverma mine (the oldest black coal mine in Central Europe)
Stachelberg Fortress (1937) – the largest military defensive fortification of its kind in Europe
Church of the Holy Trinity (16th century) – originally Renaissance, rebuilt in Baroque style in 1732, plastic decoration from 1739–1760 by Baroque master Jiří F. Pacák
The rectory building (1739) – a late Baroque building with a mansard roof
Marian Column (1725) – by Baroque master Jiří F. Pacák, pupil of Matyáš Braun
